Pick one growth, tick the environment mutations your crop has, and the tool shows the live equation and the multiplier. It gives a multiplier only. To get Sheckles, multiply that multiplier by the base value and by the weight factor, as the main Grow a Garden Calculator does.
How to use
- Pick one growth: None, Silver, Gold, or Rainbow.
- Tick each environment mutation your crop has. Do not tick a mutation your crop does not have.
- Read the live equation under the tool. It shows the growth value and each environment multiplier used.
- Take the multiplier shown and multiply it by the base value and by the weight factor to get the Sheckle value.
- If your crop is a Sunflower with Dawnbound, read the Dawnbound warning below before you trust the result.
Formula and rules
The formula is: Multiplier = Growth x (1 + sum of environment multipliers – count of environment mutations). Growth values are: None 1x, Silver 5x, Gold 20x, Rainbow 50x. Environment mutations do not multiply together in GAG1. They stack inside one bracket. That bracket is: 1 plus the sum of their multipliers, minus how many environment mutations there are. Dawnbound is listed at 150x and is Sunflower only. Do not apply Dawnbound to any other crop. The weight factor is not part of this page. This page answers one question only: what is the growth and environment multiplier?
Worked example
Take a crop with Gold growth and Shocked as its only environment mutation. Gold is 20x. Shocked is 100x. The bracket is 1 + 100 – 1, which is 100. The multiplier is 20 x 100, which is 2,000x. That matches the homepage example where a crop with base value 1,000, Gold growth, and Shocked gives 2,000,000 Sheckles at a weight factor of 1x. Now take Shocked and Celestial together, with no growth change, so growth is 1x. Shocked is 100x and Celestial is 120x. The bracket is 1 + 100 + 120 – 2, which is 219. The multiplier is 1 x 219, which is 219x. It is not 12,000x.

What does the Grow a Garden Mutation Calculator do?
It calculates the GAG1 growth and environment multiplier for one crop, with a live equation. It does not give a Sheckle value on its own.
Is this calculator for Grow a Garden 2?
No. This page is GAG1 only. Grow a Garden 2 uses a different formula, with a single mutation at a time, and its tool is the Grow a Garden 2 Calculator.
Why is my multiplier lower than another tool shows?
Most often, the other tool multiplies environment mutations together. This tool uses the bracket formula, so Shocked plus Celestial gives 219x, not 12,000x.
Can I use Dawnbound on any crop?
No. Dawnbound is Sunflower only at 150x. Do not apply it to other crops.
